The window General consists of several tabs. Information about the section shape, concrete classification and the composition of structural members by means of bars, is saved in the tab Definition.
By default: when bars are connected with each other on one straight line, when they consist of the same material, without internal bar connections and when they belong to one Group they form one Structural member. Structural members in future calculations are considered as one beam. The default Group number is the Section label number. A group never consists of different material and different section shapes within the group never occur. Structural members may be defined again according to the rules mentioned above.
