MatrixFloor and IC-Prefab
A seamless integration has been established between MatrixFloor and IC-Prefab for the integrated drawing and calculation of prefab system floors. Drafters can calculate one or more floor fields at the same time from the AutoCAD drawing or from the Revit model at the touch of a button. If a calculation is satisfactory, the draftsman can immediately continue detailing the reinforcement within IC-Prefab. If a floor field is not satisfactory, the calculation can be submitted to an structural engineer. Most of the calculations are processed automatically. The engineer then only has to deal with the matters for which his knowledge is really needed. This shortens the design time of the concrete system floors, while the risk of errors and duplication of work is reduced. The data exchange between IC-Prefab and MatrixFloor takes place via MXML and XML files.
