By the DXF file import, DXF import dialog should be configured with the proper presets:
- Structure layer name dropdown should be set to the DXF file layer name, where the import entity is located. Objects distributed over different DXF layers wouldn’t be imported;
- Logical units per meter factor should be set to the value of units, DXF drawing is drawn. In example, case DXF drawing is drawn in millimeters, factor should be set to 1000 (1000 logical units per meter), case DXF drawing is drawn in meters, factor should be set to 1 (1 logical unit per meter).
Important:
DXF import can be performed for the closed contour polyline objects only.
DXF import can be performed for the single plane located objects.
Working samples:
1. Ribplate_mm.dxf.
DXF file located drawing drawn in millimeters and placed in the layer ”0” should be imported with the following presets:
- Structure layer name: 0
- Logical units per meter: 1000
2. TShape_m.dxf.
DXF file located drawing drawn in meters and placed in the layer ”BETONRAND” should be imported with the following presets:
- Structure layer name: BETONRAND
- Logical units per meter: 1
