If generating a PDF file in Matrix Frame does not respond, this may be caused by an incorrectly configured default printer in Windows.
To resolve this issue, the user should set the default printer to “Microsoft Print to PDF”. This can be done via Windows Settings under Devices > Printers & Scanners. Select “Microsoft Print to PDF” and set it as the default printer.
After setting the correct default printer, generating PDF files in Matrix Frame should function properly again.
If the issue persists, the correct printer can also be configured within the program itself, after the Windows settings have been properly set (see screenshot below).
If the program does not apply the printer settings, the user should repair the application. This can be done by navigating to Installed Apps, selecting the relevant program, and using the Modify option to run the repair or recovery function (see image below).
