Tension pile settings:
- qc;lim: Upper boundary cone resistance qc;z;a;
- qs;lim: Upper boundary positive friction qs;z;d [Reference: NEN-EN1997-1#7.6.3.3 (8b) & (8c)];
- Cohesive layer: For piles that derive the major part of the tension resistance from the sand layer, the part of the cohesive layers (clay/silt) may be taken into account, if the value of αt from table 7.d will be lowered to 0,5 αt; this reduction is necessary in relation to the difference in tension-strain behavior of sand and cohesive soil [Reference: NEN-EN1997-1 #7.6.3.3 (8b)].
