General method

General data

1. Create structural members.

2. The code check takes place per structural member. A structural member consists of several bars.

3. Apply structural members to groups.

4. Basic properties like section type, exposure class, steel grade etc are defined per group. The properties of all structural members that belong to the same group are only defined one time.

5. Define basic properties per group.

6. Define supports.

7. Indicate the type, the size, and indicate whether there are Mti and/or moved moments cq shear force diagram.

Calculation cross-section

8. Select for every crosscheck of a structural member the basis and the additional reinforcement.

9. After the selection the module checks automatically if it meets the requirements of the code. Adapt the selection if necessary.

10. Run the previous step for the Top, the Bottom, the Surface as well as the stirrup reinforcement.

Bar positioning

11. The module MatrixFrame® Concrete contains an automatic bar positioning according to the cover diagram.

12. The method of bar positioning can be modified manually per structural member.

13. This is possible for the Top, Bottom and Stirrup Reinforcement.

Code check deflection

14. Indicate the desired method.

15. Indicate for every structural member the structure type.

16. Also indicate the code check.

17. Check in the table if the deflection code check meets the requirements.
