Known issues with Microsoft Defender SmartScreen

You may encounter Microsoft Defender SmartScreen warnings when installing software from Matrix Software B.V. (such as MatrixFrame® or other applications). These warnings do not indicate that the software is malicious. If you see such a warning, follow the steps below.

 

Ignore the warning by clicking "More info":

Check the following information in the message below:

  1. Ensure that the "App" field displays the correct name of the setup program.
  2. Verify that the "Publisher" field shows the correct company name providing the software, as illustrated in the example below.

If the "Publisher" information is correct, click "Run anyway" to continue with the installation as usual.
